DRIVER REQUIREMENTS


1: All drivers must have a valid driver’s license and be 18 years or older. Waivers for 16-17 year olds are possible with parental permission.

2: Good attitude and an open mind to learning. Remember there is always someone faster!

3: Mandatory driver’s meeting. It is held at 8:00 AM. All aspects of the event will be covered including track conditions, event policy, flags, flag stations, and run group limitations. All drivers must attend.

4: Helmet - SNELL SA 2015 or newer is required.

5: Long-sleeved cotton shirt is recommended. Long pants (no shorts) are required. Fire suit is preferred but only required in the Level D - Red run group.

6: Closed-toed shoes, no flip-flops or sandals.

7: Passengers may be permitted in the upper run groups bit not in novice.

8: Head and Neck Restraints are required for all drivers and passengers in cars equipped with, and utilizing, 5 or 6 -point harnesses. Approved head and neck restraint systems are:

  • NecksGen

  • HANS

  • Schroth SHR Flex

  • Stand 21 Ultimate, Hitech, and Club Series

  • Z Neck Tech (Zamp)

  • Simpson Hybrid S

9: Driver’s compartment of the car must be free of any loose items, e.g., cameras, radar detectors, garage door openers, tire inflators, and tools. Any item that can move and is not tied down will become a projectile in the event of a shunt! Bulkhead between the cabin and the fuel tank must be completely sealed. Leave these items at you pit spot.

10: No car-to-car contact! This is not a racing or timed event. If this happens you will be asked to leave and potentially not return.

11: No alcoholic drinks of any kind. No controlled substances of any kind. No cannabis, legal or otherwise. If found you have violated this policy you will be asked to leave.

12: Bring some snacks, some water and maybe a lawn chair!

12: Complete your car tech inspection online before you come to the track.
